S&G 2890C, built to Federal Specification FF-L-2890C, is an integrated door lock designed to meet both the security and life safety demands of highly sensitive SCIF environments. Equipped with single motion egress, the S&G 2890C Locking System allows for intuitive and safe egress from inside a SCIF. The Sargent and Greenleaf 2740B lock was designed to meet Federal Specification FF-L-2740B and is approved for use in protecting our nation’s classified materials.
In this class, you will learn about specifications FF-L-2890C and FF-L-2740B and their requirements. This class will also provide instruction in the installation, setup, and programming of the locks. Upon successfully completing the class, students will receive an installation certificate and will have the option of being listed as certified installers on the S&G website.
