Problem:
I tried changing my code. Now neither the old code nor the new code is working.
Cause:
Penalty Time occurs when 4 or more incorrect codes have been entered. Penalty time can also occur if an error was made while performing a combination change. This feature safeguards against unauthorized entry into the safe.
Solution:
Leave the battery(s) in the keypad. Do not touch the keypad for 15 minutes (minimum). After 15 minutes try the new code. If that does not work try your old code. The lock should open on one of these codes. If neither codes are working after the 15 minute wait, then you will need to execute the MRC process.
