Problem:
There is no read out on the LCD display.
Cause:
The AC plug-in cord is damaged. The AC plug-in cord is disconnected. The AC plug-in cord is defective.
Solution:
Check the AC plug-in cord carefully to be sure there is no damage such as (cuts, pinches or heavy creases in the cord). Check the AC plug-in to be sure it is plugged into a working wall outlet. If the AC plug-in cord is suspected to be faulty then a replacement will be necessary.
Special Note: In the event that the keypad is not getting power from the AC plug-in cord there is a compartment at the bottom of the keypad that contains a 9 volt plug where you can use a Duracell 9 volt battery for power to get the safe open.
